How would you use $250,000 to improve Long Beach's 9th District?

From March 21-27, if you're 14 years of age or older, and live in District 9 or represent a non-profit or business in District 9, YOU can VOTE on how to spend $250,000 of infrastructure funds. See voting times and locations below.

Not sure if you live in District 9? Enter your address on this map. You do not need to be a registered voter or a U.S. citizen to participate. In order to vote, you must bring something with your name and address that proves residence in the district. Some examples include, but are not limited to, a utility bill, drivers license, student record, pay stub, benefits card, or bank statement.*

Participatory Budgeting Briefing: 10 - 11 AM

Learn more about PB Long Beach and the greater movement for participatory budgeting in California by attending a briefing, featuring Councilmember Rex Richardson, participatory budgeting participants, and representatives from the Participatory Budgeting Project, and the California Endowment. RSVP here to reserve a spot at the briefing!

*Business owners may bring a business license or business card with an address in the district. Non-profits that operate in the district may designate a representative to vote on their behalf by contacting Shawna Stevens at the district office with the representative's name by March 26th.
